Development of employees is an important strategy of Angela Boškin Faculty of Health care. We are oriented towards the idea that our teachers are in constant contact with the clinical environment. In this way they can constantly bring innovations and insights from clinical environments into the educational process, which perfectly combines theoretical knowledge and clinical training.
Most higher education teachers, subject holders, are full-time or part-time faculty employees, only a minor part of the pedagogical activity is carried out through various contracts. Through regular and part-time employments, the faculty ensures the involvement of employees in indirect pedagogical activities, such as the active memberships in departments, commissions, development and research activities. In the future, we wish to implement a model of shared employment up to 100%, latest not being yet established practice in Slovenia, but is proving to be a successful model of employment abroad in higher education programs in the field of health.
