Research and development
Two key priorities for future development of the Angela Boskin Faculty of Health Care (ABFHC) are research and the implementation of development projects. ABFHC is registered with the Slovenian Research Agency (code number 2672) and has its own research group. The group, called Health Care and Nursing (001), consists of full-time and part-time lecturers and other specialists in the field.
The group meets all the criteria for submitting basic, applied, and target research programme projects with the Slovenian Research Agency.
ABFHC has signed agreements on joint development projects and research work with institutions in Slovenia and abroad. Its main partners in Slovenia include the tertiary institution Golnik Clinic, Clinical Department of Pulmonary and Allergy Care, the Jesenice General Hospital, and the Institute of Public Health Kranj. At the international level, the ABFHC has signed bilateral agreements for research and development work with the OsloMet University College (Faculty of Nursing) and the University of the West of Scotland (Faculty of Education, Health and Social Sciences).
