Introduction to nursing research
Student:
- is acquainted with research paradigms and research approaches and methods which inform nursing and healthcare practice;
- gains knowledge of significance of research for nursing;
- gains knowledge of characteristics of research work;
- acquires understanding about the social and political context of the research enterprise;
- Explores research paradigms, research approaches and methods which inform nursing and healthcare practice;
- is acquainted with critical examination of different ways of classifying nursing research;
- considers ethical dimensions of research;
- explores and critically analyzes the design of a research study with reference to a chosen subject area and preferred methodology.
Nursing informatics
Student:
- gets basic knowledge about information science
- gets information about the up-to date information technology and applications in healthcare
- is acquainted about the nursing informatics evolution and application
- is capable to actively participate in information system developing.
