The student:

  • awareness and understanding of significance of psychology and psychological skills in nursing care;
  • comprehension of basic psychologicaly concepts, structures and dynamics of personality;
  • understanding of significant interpersonal processes and dynamic of groups;
  • basic understanding of  psychological disorders, courses and outcomes;
  • comprehension and performing basic psychological interventions in nursing care;
  • understanding the significance of psychology for successful medical treatment.
  • effective work with patients;
  • capability of empathy with patients and relatives;
  • to recognizing the symptoms of psychological distress, disorders and burn-out syndromes;
  • to understanding the problems of disease and problems of somatic patients from psychological aspect;
  • use of psychology in practice; 
  • use of  the basic psychosocial interventions and effective communication in practice;
  • improving quality of the relationship with patients, relatives and other members of the team.
