The student:

  • Understanding of world religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Asian religions), and some traditional believings
  • Understanding of the role of religions in terms of evolution of various civilizations
  • Knowing the religious components (morals, texts, prophets, rituals, symbolism, process of interpretation of religious texts)
  • Knowing the reactions of religions on some elements of postmodernity
  • Knowing the influences of various convictions on religions (antique, enlightenment, humanism, renaissance)
  • Understanding of religious life principles, and their fundamental etical values
  • Knowing the project of “world etos”
  • Knowing the closeness of various religions in their elementary values, and in rules of interpersonal coexistence
  • Knowing the authors from medieval Christian, Judaistic, Byzantine and Islamic philosophy, Antique, New era, and their view on ethics
  • Understanding of the process of interpretation of religious texts
