The student:

• becomes familiar with the modern leadership approaches;
• learns the characteristics of different leadership styles;
• learns about the importance of leadership for a successful and efficient nursing practice in the clinical setting;
• learns about the importance of leadership in relation to people and main elements of leadership;
• gains awareness about leadership as a discipline significantly influencing the processes and outcomes in health care and nursing.
