Students will also obtain knowledge on culture, cultural diversity, and the dangers of generalisations and stereotyping. Students will become familiar with the indicators of multicultural competence and ultimately also obtain the cultural competencies important for providing transcultural nursing. The knowledge of the patient's cultural perspectives will enable them to provide more effective and appropriate care. |
