Subject-specific competences:	Symptoms and signs of internal diseases (heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, liver, vascular system, endocrine glands, blood and blood forming organs, the immune system, kidneys). Causes of internal diseases (innate anomalies, hereditary factors, infections, degenerative changes, injuries, cancer). Prevention of internal diseases. Emergency conditions in internal medicine (heart failure, respiratory failure, renal failure, liver failure, shock, anaphylaxis). Rehabilitation of patients with internal diseases. Knowledge and understanding: application of theoretical knowledge of internal medicine in every day practice student is familiar with algorithms for systematic approach toward injured person or suddenly ill person student is able to plan the care and needed measures for stabilisation of endangered patient student understands the consequences of performed measures and is able to evaluate changes of health condition of endangered patient
