Subject-specific competences:
  • Therapeutic exercises in context of possible muscles contraction, movement manners, muscle work, kinetic chain;
  • Therapeutic exercises with the use of various pillows and accessories;
  • Therapeutic exercises effects;
  • Indications, restrictions, caution manners and counter indications;
  • Proper exercise selection and individual exercise adaptation;
  • Set objectives of kinesio-therapeutic treatment and plan kinesio-therapeutic methods therapy.

Objectives and competences:
  • Upgrade knowledge on functional anatomy and physiology (working of movement, cardio-vascular, nervous and respiratory system);
  • Understanding responses of various organic systems on body activity;
  • Influence of body activity and specific exercises on structure and working of movement, cardio-vascular, nervous and respiratory system;
  • Understanding movement of healthy person and recognizing pathologic changes of movement system;
  • Ability to plan, define and implement therapeutic exercises independently. 

Knowledge and understanding:
  • Understanding of normal and pathologic processes of the movement system;
  • Recognising morphologic and functional changes of movement, cardio-vascular and respiratory system in injuries, diseases and other pathologic conditions;
  • Evaluation of initial conditions, therapy planning, therapeutic exercise implementation and monitoring of their effects.
