Subject-specific competences:
  • Basic characteristic of different sports (team sports, ball games, endurance sports, contact sports, martial arts,…);
  • Basic of sport training and the planning of training process;
  • Micro and macro cycles and a connection to strain of athlete and a need for physiotherapeutic treatment;
  • Application of knowledge of different methods and techniques of physiotherapy at sport;
  • Characteristics of rehabilitation in sport and its specifics.
 
Objectives and competences:
  • Understanding of characteristics of different sports; 
  • Understanding of training process planning, straining of the athlete in different phase;
  • To know how to use properly the methods and techniques in physiotepaphy in sports;
  • To understand the specifics at the athletes rehabilitation.
 
Knowledge and understanding:
  • Diferences between sports and their specifics;
  • Training process planning (micro and macro cycles), integration of physiotherapist to the process;
  • Application of different methods and techniques of physiotherapy in sport;
  • Specifics of rehabilitation in sport.
