Subject specific competences:

Help students develop the competences to independently and professionally implement evidence-based interventions. Students:

  • learn the importance of healthy nutrition for maintaining and improving health, to acquire the skills for promoting a healthy diet and for planning a balanced diet throughout different life periods;
  • become familiar with recommended diets for different age groups and for people with special nutritional requirements;
  • learn about the risks and diseases connected with poor nutrition;
  • learn how to meet specific nutritional needs of different subjects independently, critically, and professionally;
  • acquire the ability of solving problems professionally and by using a multidisciplinary approach;
  • adopt a professional and supportive relationship with coworkers, students, and other team members.

  • written examination – 60%,
  • research contribution – 40%.
