Students:

  • gained systematic knowledge and comprehensive understanding of promotion of healthy lifestyle among individual, family and society through developmental stages
  • applied theoretical knowledge on a particular example of the healthy lifestyle diagnostics and by planning and developing programmes for the lifestyle change and change evaluation among individual or selected target group
  • able responsible decisions of selecting the appropriate approach to the strengthening/change the lifestyle of individual or society, based on knowledge of the healthy lifestyle theories and psychological views of healthy lifestyle changing 
  • developed ability for assessing needs and developing independent strategy in health promotion programmes of healthy lifestyle among different target groups
  • developed critical thinking relate to the national and international low documentation, existed practice and key health promotion programmes, their own contribution and new questions in the field of promotion of healthy lifestyle
  • developed the ability of independent gaining the new knowledge in promotion of healthy lifestyle through the continuous life-long learning in profession.

Completed study obligation from the 1st study year, which are conditional for enrollment in the 2nd study year.
Passed a compulsory subject Health inequalities in health and health determinates in the 1st study year.

Assessment methods:

  • written examination – 60 %,
  • seminar work – 40 %.

Teaching methods:

Lectures, workshops in smaller groups, method of written work - seminar work, Audiovisual aids, videos, online classroom.
