Cilji in predmetno
specifične kompetence:

Seznaniti študenta z osnovami in aktualnimi vsebinami na področju organizacije, managementa in temeljnimi principi kakovosti v zdravstvu. Študent mora ob koncu predmeta razumeti delovanje organizacije, razliko med managementom in vodenjem ter med delom in odgovornostmi managerja in strokovnjaka, vse z vidika organizacij zdravstvenega varstva.
Poznal bo temeljne funkcije managementa (planiranje, organiziranje, vodenje in kontrola), vrste managementa (strateški, operativni, projektni) ter ključne vsebine sodobnega managementa. Seznanil se bo s temeljnimi znanji na področju celovitega obvladovanja kakovosti v zdravstvu in kako jih prenesti v neposredno delovanje posameznika, tima, oddelka, zdravstvenega zavoda in zdravstvenega sistema.
