Angela Boškin Faculty of Health Care adopts the first preventive measures to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)
To employees, staff members, and students of the Angela Boškin Faculty of Health Care
In accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia coming after confirmed cases of infection with the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in northern Italy and other areas reporting outbreaks of the virus, the Angela Boškin Faculty of Health Care (hereinafter: ABFHC) has adopted the first preventive measures to help prevent the spread of the virus.
All those of you who have, in the last 10 days, visited or travelled to affected regions in China, South Korea, Iran or to the Italian provinces of Lombardia, Veneto, Piedmont, and Emiglia Romagna, or who have come in contact with an infected person, please stay at home for the next 14 days regardless of your overall health status. Please notify the competent office or person of your absence (Student Affairs Office, ABFHC coordinator, clinical learning center coordinator, lecturer), so that they can mark your absence appropriately. If, during that time, you start to experience the symptoms of an acute respiratory infection (fever, runny nose, coughing, a shortness of breath), please immediately notify your doctor of this via telephone or e-mail. Do not turn up at your healthcare provider unannounced in order to avoid spreading infection to others. The healthcare services know which measures to employ in case there is a suspicion of a coronavirus infection, and are ready to act. If you do not develop any symptoms in 14 days (the most likely scenario), you may continue with your studies and other activities. We also urge you to advise persons coming from regions with confirmed coronavirus outbreaks to postpone any trips until further notice.
