Hello and welcome to the Online Course on Contemporary Challenges in Healthcare

The partners of the Care4Health project have developed a comprehensive online educational programme addressing key contemporary challenges in healthcare. The programme is primarily designed for graduate nurses and other graduate health professionals who wish to update and expand their knowledge in a flexible and time-efficient manner.

The course focuses on four essential thematic areas. It introduces evidence-based practice in the nursing context, supporting participants in critically appraising research and applying scientific evidence to clinical decision-making. It also explores digital safety and cybersecurity in healthcare, equipping learners with the knowledge needed to protect sensitive patient data and ensure safe use of digital health technologies. Furthermore, the programme strengthens competencies in effective communication and interprofessional collaboration, which are crucial for high-quality, patient-centred care. Finally, it addresses green health and environmental protection, raising awareness of sustainable healthcare practices and the environmental impact of health systems.

The free educational program is designed to enable learning about the basics of contemporary healthcare challenges in the Moodle online environment. 

The program consists of four topics:
Evidence-based practice in the nursing context
Digital safety and cybersecurity in healthcare
Communication and collaboration
Green health and environmental protection.

Each topic is presented through a series of presentations, interactive videos and other activities and concludes with a short quiz.

The e-learning platform is available at the Care4Health e-learning platform.

After completing the online learning programme, each participant receives a certificate. You are warmly invited to join the programme and follow the steps of the online course.
