Kratek življenjepis

Izobrazba
Srednjo šolo je obiskovala v Kamniku, na gimnaziji Rudolfa Maistra. Šolanje je nadaljevala na Višji šoli za zdravstvo-smer zdravstvena nega v Ljubljani, kjer je diplomirala leta 1981.
V letu 2003 je svoje znanje dopolnila na Visoki šoli za zdravstvo in študij uspešno končala leta 2004. Naslov diplomske naloge se glasi: Rehabilitacijska zdravstvena nega pacientov po amputaciji spodnjega uda.
V letu 2009 je študij nadaljevala na Visoki šoli za zdravstveno nego Jesenice-2.stopnja. Magistrsko delo z naslovom Stališča medicinskih sester o pomembnosti dokumentiranja v zdravstveni negi je zagovarjala 20.5.2014.
 
Delovne izkušnje:
Njena profesionalna pot se je začela januarja 1982 v Univerzitetnem kliničnem centru Ljubljana,  v Urgentnem bloku-travmatološka ambulanta.
Leta 1984 se je zaposlila v Univerzitetnem rehabilitacijskem inštitutu republike Slovenije-Soča, kjer je zaposlena še sedaj. Od leta 1998 dela kot oddelčna medicinska sestra. Na svoji profesionalni poti se je srečevala s pacienti, ki so bili hospitalizirani zaradi različnih patologij.
Je članica razširjenega kolegija za SKZBZN. Delovne izkušnje je pridobivala tudi v tujini kot predavateljica zdravstvene nege medicinskim sestram v Albaniji in v Tajikistanu. Predavanja so potekala pod okriljem Mednarodne ustanove za deminiranje in pomoč žrtvam min (International Trust Fund - ITF).

Education
She attended high school of Rudolf Maister Gymnasium in Kamnik and continued her education at the College of Nursing in Ljubljana, where she graduated in 1981.
At 2003 she started further education at the College of Nursing in Ljubljana and graduated in 2004. The title of her diploma thesis was: Rehabilitation nursing of patients after lower limb amputation.
In 2009 she continued her studies at the Jesenice College of Nursing - master's degree (2nd Bolonia level). She defended her master's thesis titled: Nurses’ attitudes towards the importance of documentation in the nursing profession in May 20, 2014.

Work experience:
Her professional work began in January 1982 at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, in the department Emergency Unit-Trauma Clinic.
In 1984 she started her position in the University Rehabilitation Institute Republic of Slovenia-Soča, where she works until now. Since 1998 she works as a ward nurse. In her professional path, she has been meeting patients who have been hospitalized for various pathologies. She is also a member of the extended college for SKZBZN.
She also gaining work experience by lecturing in Albania and Tajikistan about nursing.
Her lectures abroad was held under the auspices of the International Foundation for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (International Trust Fund - ITF).
