Zdravstvena nega v operativni dejavnosti

Kratek življenjepis

Tatjana Požarnik se je rodila leta 1974 v Ljubljani. Po končani osnovni šoli se je  vpisala na Srednjo zdravstveno šolo in si leta 1993 pridobila naziv srednja medicinska sestra. V želji, da bi se njen obseg znanja še povečeval, sej je istega leta vpisala na tedaj Visoko šolo za zdravstvo v Ljubljani in leta 1996 študij Zdravstvene nege končala z nazivom višja medicinska sestra. Decembra 1996 se je zaposlila kot operacijska medicinska sestra v Operacijskem bloku Univerzitetnega kliničnega centra Ljubljana, kjer deluje še danes. Ker se je zavedala pomena znanja in izobrazbe, je nadaljevala s študijem na Visoki šoli za zdravstvo v Ljubljani, kjer je leta 1999 dobila naziv diplomirana medicinska sestra. Ko so leta 2003 na tedaj Visoki zdravstveni šoli v Mariboru uvedli specialistični študijski program Perioperativna zdravstvena nega, je sprejela nov izziv ter se zopet podala v šolske klopi. Specialistični študij je kot prva specializantka s področja perioperativne zdravstvene nege zaključila leta 2006. Zdravstvena fakulteta v Ljubljani ji je podelila naziv zunanji strokovni sodelavec pri vodenju vaj študentov rednega in izrednega študija. Prav tako je mentor novo zaposlenim operacijskim medicinskim sestram, pri čemer s pridom širi svoje znanje. Kot velik izziv je marca 2010 sprejela delo koordinatorja operativne dejavnosti v Univerzitetnem kliničnem centru Ljubljana, kjer si je pridobila izkušnje pri načrtovanju in vodenju procesa dela v operacijskem bloku. V vsem tem času se je aktivno udeleževala strokovnih srečanj Sekcije medicinskih sester in zdravstvenih tehnikov v operativni dejavnosti, kjer je predstavljala delo operacijske medicinske sestre na različnih področjih. Leta 2003 je v okviru Sekcije medicinskih sester in zdravstvenih tehnikov v operativni dejavnosti dobila možnost kot vodja Skupine za raziskovalno dejavnost, ki pa v tistem času ni zaživela kot bi morala. Kljub temu njena volja do aktivnega dela v sekciji ni zamrla, saj je aktivno sodelovala v programskih in organizacijskih odborih strokovnih seminarjev. V zadnjih letih je pomembno tudi njeno delo pri uredništvu zbornikov, ki so izšli ob strokovnih srečanjih. Od leta 2008 je tudi članica izvršnega odbora sekcije, ki ji od leta 2013 tudi predseduje. Leta 2014 je bila s strani Ministrstva za zdravje potrjena kot članica za izvajanje strokovnih nadzorov s svetovanjem. V okviru sekcije sodeluje pri pripravi nacionalnih protokolov in se trudi pri uvedbi enotne terminologije s področja perioperativne zdravstvene nege. V okviru sekcije je pobudnica, da bi v slovenskem prostoru dobili tudi domačo literaturo s področja perioperativne zdravstvene nege. S svojo vztrajnostjo, voljo, trudom in vedno novimi idejami prispeva k prepoznavnosti dela operacijske medicinske sestre.
Leta 2018 je napisala informativno brošuro Odstranjevanje kirurškega dima - vsakdo ima pravico do čistega zraka, s katero želi opozoriti na škodljive vplive kirurškega dima na zdravje zaposlenih in pacientov ter navaja ustrezne zaščitne ukrepe. Novembra 2019 je Sekcija medicinskih sester in zdravstvenih tehnikov v operativni dejavnosti izdala strokovno literaturo z naslovom Perioperativna zdravstvena nega, katere je urednica Tatjana Požarnik. Od leta 2020 je tudi članica Statutarne komisije, ki deluje v okviru Zbornice zdravstvene in babiške nege Slovenije.

Na Fakulteti za zdravstvo Angele Boškin je nosilka in izvajalka predmeta Zdravstvena nega v operativni dejavnosti.


Curriculum Vitae

Tatjana Požarnik was born in 1974 in Ljubljana. After finishing Primary School, she enrolled in the Secondary Medical School and in 1993 acquired the title of nurse. In order to further increase her knowledge, she enrolled in the same year at the Faculty of Health Science in Ljubljana and in 1996 completed her studies. In December 1996, she was employed as an operating room nurse in the Operating Room of the University Medical Center Ljubljana, where she still works. Aware of the importance of knowledge and education, she continued her studies at the Faculty of Health Science in Ljubljana, where in 1999 she was awarded the title of registred nurse. In 2003 she enrolled in the postgraduate specialist study Perioperative Nursing and completed it in 2006. The Faculty of Health Science in Ljubljana awarded her the title of external expert in conducting exercises for full-time and part-time students. He is also a mentor to newly hired operating room nurses, expanding his knowledge to his advantage. In March 2010, she accepted the job of coordinator of operative activities at the University Medical Center Ljubljana as a great challenge, where she gained experience in planning and managing the work process in the operating room. During all this time, she actively participated in professional meetings of the Operating Room Nurses Association where she presented the work of an operating room nurse in various fields. In 2003, she was given the opportunity to be the head of the Research Group, which at that time did not live as it should. Nevertheless, her will to actively work in the Operating Room Nurses Association did not die, as she actively participated in the program and organizational committees of educational seminars. In recent years, her work with the editors of proceedings, which were published at professional meetings, is also important. Since 2008 she has also been a member of the executive committee of the Operating Room Nurses Association, which she has also chaired since 2013. In 2014, she was confirmed by the Ministry of Health as a member for the implementation of professional supervision through counseling. Within the Operating Room Nurses Association, he participates in the preparation of national protocols and strives to introduce uniform terminology in the field of perioperative nursing. Within the Operating Room Nurses Association, she is the initiator of obtaining domestic literature in the field of perioperative nursing in Slovenia. She is also the editor of the professional literature Peroperative Nursing, which was published in 2019 as part of the Operating Room Nurses Association. With her perseverance, will, effort and always new ideas, she contributes to the recognition of the work of the operating room nurse. At the Faculty of Health Angela Boškin, she is the holder and executor of the course Operative Nursing Care.
