Kratek življenjepis

Dr. Monika Zadnikar je diplomirana fizioterapevtka in je diplomirala na Visoki šoli za zdravstvo v Ljubljani. Znanstveni doktorat je leta 2016 zaključila na Mednarodni podiplomski šoli Jožefa Stefana iz teme Razvoj metodološkega modela hipoterapije pri mladostnikih s cerebralno paralizo.

Poklicno pot je pričela leta 1989 kot fizioterapevtka v Centru Dolfke Boštjančič, kjer je v času službovanja opravila specializacijo iz nevrofizioterapije (1991) in jo nadaljevala v Zavodu za usposabljanje invalidne mladine Kamnik (1993). Bila je vodja rehabilitacijskega tima v katerem so strokovne izkušnje delili fizioterapevti, delovni terapevti, logopedi in delavci v jahalnici. 

Na Ministrstvu za zdravje (2017) je v okviru projektnega dela delala v direktoratu za dolgotrajno oskrbo na področju rehabilitacije.

Svojemu znanju je dodala znanja iz različnih strokovnih področij: vodenje tima, organizacija zdravstvenega varstva, terapije s konji. Dr. Monika Zadnikar izvaja izobraževanja iz področja hipoterapije v Sloveniji z mednarodno udeležbo od leta 2001, je vaditeljica plavanja, inštruktorica jahanja in ima dodatna strokovna znanja iz različnih tehnik fizioterapije (PNF, Mulligan, Bobath, idr.). Sodeluje z zbornicami in združenji ter fakultetami tako v Sloveniji kot v tujini. 

Leta 2016 je bila na fakulteti za zdravstvo Angele Boškin izvoljena v naziv predavateljica. Od leta 2018 pripravlja in usklajuje študijski program Fizioterapije in je predstojnica Katedre za fizioterapijo.

 
 

Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Monika Zadnikar has a degree in physiotherapy and graduated from the College of Medicine in Ljubljana. She completed her scientific doctorate in 2015 at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School.
She began her career in 1989 as a physiotherapist at the Dolfka Boštjančič Center, where she completed a specialization in neurophysiotherapy (1991) and continued at the Institute for the Training of Disabled Youth Kamnik (1993). She was the leader of a rehabilitation team in which professional experience was shared by physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and riding staff.
At the Ministry of Health (2017), she worked in the directorate for long-term care in the field of rehabilitation as part of project work.
She added to her knowledge knowledge from various professional fields: team management, health care organization, time management, stress management, horse therapies and more. Dr. Monika Zadnikar has been providing training in the field of hippotherapy in Slovenia with international participation since 2001, she is a swimming instructor, riding instructor and has additional expertise in various physiotherapy techniques (PNF, Mulligan, Bobath, etc.). It cooperates with chambers and associations and faculties both in Slovenia and abroad.
In 2016, Angela Boškin was elected a lecturer at the Faculty of Health. Since 2018, he has been preparing and coordinating the Physiotherapy study program and lecturing in all three years of the higher education physiotherapy study program. She is also the head of the Department of Physiotherapy.
