The University of Murcia hosted a workshop to provide training and exchange of expertise related to healthcare professions. The workshop was held as one of the activities of the project "Care4Health: Building the Healthcare Worker of Tomorrow". The 5-day intensive training for higher education teachers, mentors, postgraduate assistants and other educators was organized in the context of four important topics: evidence-based practice in healthcare, digitalization and digital security, development of soft skills, environmental impact. 14 members of the project team actively participated in the event.
Members of the Care4Health project from Murcia (University of Murcia, Faculty of Health) provided training on evidence-based practice; experts from the University of Udine prepared training on the development of soft skills of healthcare professionals, with an emphasis on communication with the public and patients. The Western Friuli Health Authority – the hospital representative, focused on developing the knowledge and competences of the participants in interprofessional cooperation and collaborative practice. Care4Health project members from JAMK University (Jyväskylä) shared their expertise and experience in the field of digital security, the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor, provided training on tools and methodologies needed to develop digital curricula, learning and teaching materials and practical tools for blended learning, and the Angela Boškin Faculty of Health delivered training on sustainability in healthcare.
