Two students of Faculty of Health Care Jesenice on the way to Norway for the international exchange under funding of Norway grants

Karmen Kutin, student of the 3rd year, and Jan Novak, student of the 2nd year at the Faculty of Health Care Jesenice, are leaving for 3-months international exchange with the aim of clinical training. Karmen and Jan exchange start on August, 8th 2014 and finish on November, 11th 2014 at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences – HiOA, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. With this partner higher education institution is Faculty of Health Care Jesenice closely connected from 2009 with individual mobility of students and teachers as well with implementation of joint developmental projects, undergraduate educations (Erasmus intensive programme »Works in Progress«), and strategic partnerships (IRIS network). Jan and Karmen will be included in clinical practice of community nursing and mental health nursing in the clinical settings run by Oslo Municipality Health Services. This students exchange to HiOA will be already third so far. The first exchange was placed in academic year 2009/2010 (2 students) and the second in academic year 2011/2012 (3 students). Similar to the previous exchanges Karmen in Jan received the Norway Grant scholarship No. 24-2014-602 (NFM-NFM/22/14) for study in Oslo. The funding is part of the Mobility project in higher education, led by Center of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes.
