Nursing education and knowledge in the three cycles of higher education: differentiation of competences and skills 

The conference with round table discussion was on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012, in Ljubljana's Hotel City, starting at 9 a.m.
 

Conference goals were:

• To provide information on quality standards in higher education nursing programs with examples from EU member states; 
• To define and discuss competences and skills of nursing professionals after each cycle of higher education;
• To outline future activities and responsibilities in secondary and tertiary education in Slovenia according to health system requirements, nursing development strategy and the possibilities of achieving quality standards for secondary education and higher education in Slovenia.
