Kim Peternel, Segeja Zver, Maruša Arnež in Darja Potočnik, the final year nursing students at CNJ, spend the summer semester of the academic year 2013/2014 as Erasmus students in the 3-month international exchange in clinical training. Kim and Sergeja visited the University of the West of Scotland, School of Health Nursing and Midwifery from the January, 27th 2014 till April, 27th 2014. They trained in the following three clinical practice areas: Mental Health Nursing, Community Nursing and Women's Health Nursing. Maruša and Darja visited the University of Malta, Faculty of Health Sciences from March, 1st 2014 till June, 1st 2014. Their clinical placement was in Mental Health Nursing, Community Nursing, Women's Health Nursing, Dispensary Nursing, and Emergency Nursing.

This was the first Erasmus exchange of our students at the University of the West of Scotland and the second exchange at the University of Malta. The FHC participated in a tender of the Erasmus+ programme to obtain the funding for the Erasmus exchange continuation at the mentioned partner institutions in the academic year 2014/2015.
