8th international scientific conference on nursing and health care research



Under uspices of



Consortium of four Slovenian health care faculties has organised 

the 8th international scientific conference on nursing and health care research:
»Health care professions and their response to the health care needs of society: an evidence based and coordinated action«



The aim of the conference was to present current research and development work in clinical environments, higher education and other institutions, and to present development strategies within the contemporary health care in adverse economic conditions.

At the 8th international conference 52 abstracts from Slovene and also foreign authors were presented. Active participants from Scotland, Estonia, Serbia, Norway and Germany presented their articles. Slovene articles were from clinical environments, educational institutions and from master students. 

Themes that were presented:

knowledge and evidence-based nursing 

patient as part of evidence-based practice 

knowledge for teaching in health sciences

improving nursing practice with clinical research

improvements and changes in health care provision 

health promotion

research among master's nursing students 

knowledge and skills for high-quality, professional care provision
