Spoštovani študenti,

obveščamo vas o natečaju z naslovom "Paul Wainwright Nursing Ethics Student Essay Prize 2011". Uredniški odbor publikacije Nursing Ethics oznanja natečaj za najboljši študentski esej, in sicer na temo, ki je povezana z etiko v zdravstvu in zdravstveni negi. Natečaj je namenjen vsem študentom, ki so vpisani v programe zdravstva ali zdravstvene nege v obdobju med januarjem in septembrom 2011. Esej ima lahko obliko empirične raziskave ali pa razprave, ki raziskuje določeno temo na področju etike, filozofije. Rok za oddajo prispevkov je 09. 07. 2011. Prispevek ne sme biti daljši od 2500 besed. Študenti morajo izvlečke poslati na naslednji e-naslov: nursing-ethics@surrey.ac.uk. Najboljši prispevek bo nagrajen z enoletno brezplačno naročnino na revijo Nursing Ethics in s £100. Prav tako bo zmagovalni esej objavljen v reviji Nursing Ethics. Prispevek mora biti napisan v skladu z navodili za objavo, ki se nahajajo na spletni strani http://nej.sagepub.com.

The Paul Wainwright Nursing Ethics Student Essay Prize 2011
The Editorial Board of Nursing Ethics is pleased to announce the 2011 award of a prize for the best student essay on a topic related to nursing and healthcare ethics. The prize is named in honour of nurse ethicist and philosopher, Professor Paul Wainwright, who died on 16th June 2010.
The competition is open to all students in nursing and other healthcare professions on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes during the period January to September 2011. The essay may have been submitted as an assignment but should not have been published previously. It can relate to an empirical ethics project or it can be a discussion/conceptual essay exploring a philosophical topic. The essay should make a significant and original contribution to nursing or healthcare ethics.
The closing date for entries is 9th July 2011 and submissions (no longer than 2500 words) should be emailed to nursing-ethics@surrey.ac.uk. Please clearly mark your submission by inserting the email subject as 'student essay prize.' The prize will be awarded at the next ICNE conference at the University of Surrey in September 2011. The author of the prize-winning essay will receive one year's free subscription to the journal and £100. The prize-winning essay will be published in the journal. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make more than one award.
