Projektne aktivnosti
The project will strengthen the physical and emotional well-being of healthcare students, educators and practitioners, who serve as the guardians of public health, through innovative learning and teaching practices, ensuring they can model and pass on healthy habits to their patients, creating a multiplier effect that enhances community and public well-being. Integrating self-care and self-management into healthcare education will foster healthy habits, resilience, confidence and empathy - essential qualities for effective teaching, high-quality patient care, and long-term career sustainability. The project will promote innovative blended learning methods, transdisciplinary approaches (medicine, well-being and health, management, technology and environmental protection), and digital tools to help higher education staff and students address well-being challenges and integrate healthy habits into their daily routines.
Aligned with the priority of stimulating innovative learning and teaching practices, the project will develop a micro-credential and a digital Guide for Educators, targeted at advancing the well-being of higher education healthcare educators and professionals, and an individual-centered blended undergraduate course equipping students with transferable, forwardlooking skills. It will introduce innovative pedagogies, such as reflective journaling with biofeedback tools, case-based learning, and collaborative international learning, enabling students and educators to adopt a proactive approach to wellbeing.
In doing so, its will foster critical thinking, self-regulation and emotional intelligence, preparing students for careers
that demand professional expertise, emotional strength and advanced interpersonal skills.
Addressing the priority of digital transformation, the project will enhance digital readiness and capacity by leveraging digital tools for training, engagement and self-monitoring. The development of an online learning component, a digital Guide for Educators, and a habit tracking app will ensure that healthcare students, educators and practitioners can effectively integrate digital self-care strategies in their daily routines. The project also prioritizes digital well-being, equipping target groups with tools to manage their physical and emotional health in an increasingly technology-driven learning environment.
To improve the availability of high-quality, flexible learning for adults, the project will develop and recognize a blended
learning course with a digital component leading to a micro-credential, targeted at healthcare professionals and educators.
This will support lifelong learning and career development by ensuring that well-being remains a priority throughout
professional careers. The project will thus enhance the recognition and impact of healthcare professionals’ and educators'
work ensuring that they are prepared to support both their own well-being and that of their patients/students.
