Kratek življenjepis

Doc. dr. Tina Bregant  je po diplomi leta 2002 na Medicinski fakulteti v Ljubljani opravljala delo mlade raziskovalke in specializantke pediatrije na Kliničnem oddelku za otroško, mladostniško in razvojno nevrologijo Pediatrične klinike v Ljubljani do leta 2013, ko je nadaljevala delo kot specialistka pediatrije in doktorica znanosti s področja  otroške nevrologije na primarni ravni v ZD Medvode. Od leta 2015 je bila zaposlena na Univerzitetnem Rehabilitacijskem Institutu – URI Soča v Ljubljani, kjer je opravila dodatno specializacijo s področja fizikalne in rehabilitacijske medicine. Trenutno je zaposlena v zavodu CIRIUS Kamnik kot specialist pediater / fiziater. Kot predavatelj in mentor študentom sodeluje v programu Kognitivna Znanost Univerze v Ljubljani ter Oddelkom za kineziologijo Fakultete za šport in Pedagoško fakulteto v Ljubljani. Sodeluje v domačih in mednarodnih raziskovalnih skupinah ter izsledke raziskav predstavlja strokovni in laični javnosti.  Aktivno  sodeluje pri oblikovanju državnih programov, ki spodbujajo otroke v razvoju (NIJZ, Ministrstvo za šolstvo, znanost in šport, Ministrstvo za delo in socialne zadeve). Je članica Odbora za kakovost in varnost pri Zdravniški zbornici Slovenije in članica uredniškega odbora mednarodne revije Frontiers (področje pediatrije,  nevrologije, razvojne pediatrije). Je strokovna recenzentka slovenskega prevoda knjige Znanost o vzgoji,  Nagovori staršem : nasveti o vzgoji priznane pedagoginje Marie Montessori in Čuječnost za otroke in najstnike ter avtorica knjige Perinatal hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy.  V veselje in navdih so ji otroci in njihov razvoj. Verjame, da kdor se ukvarja z otroki, se ukvarja z našo prihodnostjo. 

Na Fakulteti za zdravstvo Angele Boškin je soizvajalka predmeta Pediatrija.

Curriculum Vitae

Tina Bregant, MD, PhD, a senior specialist (consultant) of paediatrics and specialist of PRM (Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine) worked at CIRIUS-Centre for Education and Rehabilitation of Physically Handicapped Children and Adolescents in Kamnik, Slovenia.  During COVID-19 pandemics she was included in the governmental group fighting the COVID-19 epidemics and then promoted to the State secretary at the Ministry of Health, Republic of Slovenia. Previously she worked as a specialist of PRM at University Rehabilitation Institute of Slovenia and as a specialist of general paediatrics at Health Centre Ljubljana. For more than a decade she worked as a researcher at Paediatrics Clinics in Ljubljana on perinatal hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy and as a paediatrician in the Clinical department for developmental, child and adolescent neurology at University Medical Centre Ljubljana where she also studied after finishing International Baccalaureate programme. She has a teaching position at Special and Rehabilitation Pedagogics & Speech therapy at Faculty for education Ljubljana, General paediatrics at Faculty for health sciences Jesenice, Mei:CogSci-The Middle European interdisciplinary master programme in Cognitive Science, and Medical Faculty Ljubljana.  She received several prizes: in 2017 an Award from Medical chamber of Slovenia for the leadership of the group Young medical doctors of Slovenia; in 2015 a certificate of excellence + best poster award by CHOP (Children hospital of Philadelphia) on  Developmental Paediatrics;  in 2014         certificate of excellence + best poster award by CHOP (Children hospital of Philadelphia)  in Paediatric emergency medicine; in 2008 award for promising young epileptologist at Migrating school of epilepsy and in 2007 The best poster/research award at Sinapsa Neuroscience Conference. She was the keynote speaker at the 10th TED Talk anniversary: The future in Ljubljana in 2019 on »Parenthood«. In 2012she was awarded for bravery - rescuing a victim from the MVA from the Ministry of internal affairs Slovenia. She is a regular guest at National Radio&Television. She is also a mother of three children. She knows that children are our future indeed. But it is up to us, adults, what future we are living in.
