Kratek življenjepis

Eva Uršej, pred., je leta 2008 diplomirala na Fakulteti za šport in leto kasneje na Zdravstveni fakulteti, smer fizioterapija, na Univerzi v Ljubljani.

Svoje prve izkušnje na področju fizioterapije je pridobila na Ortopedski kliniki v Ljubljani, tri leta kasneje se je v želji po širjenju znanja zaposlila kot respiratorna fizioterapevtka na KO za anesteziologijo in intenzivno terapijo operativnih strok UKC Ljubljana, zadnja leta pa vodi samostojno samoplačniško fizioterapevtsko ambulanto v Ljubljani.

Ves čas sodeluje tudi s športnimi klubi in organizacijami: OKS - Združenje športnih zvez (odprava na MOI Nanjing, EYOF Erzurum ...), moška odbojkarska reprezentanca, moška in ženska smučarska reprezentanca, rokometni klubi ter individualnimi športniki.

Svojo pripadnost poklicu izkazuje z aktivnim delovanjem v Združenju fizioterapevtov Slovenije in je predsednica Sekcije za fizioterapijo v športu pri ZFS.

Od leta 2015 sodeluje kot zunanja strokovna sodelavka s Fakulteto za šport Univerze v Ljubljani, pri izobraževanjih na področju fizioterapije in strokovnega usposabljanja v športu, predava ter vodi delavnice na različnih kongresih, konferencah ter simpozijih v Sloveniji in tujini.

Na Fakulteti za zdravstvo Angele Boškin sodeluje pri študiju fizioterapije pri predmetih Funkcionalna anatomija in fiziologija gibalnega sistema, Inštrumentalna fizioterapija, Kardiorespiratorna fizioterapija, Fizioterapija v športu in športna rehabilitacija ter Skupinska vadba in fitnes.

Curriculum Vitae

Lecturer Eva Uršej graduated from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Sports in 2008 and from the Faculty of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy) one year later. She gained her first experience in the profession of physiotherapy at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Three years later she decided to expand her knowledge and gained employment as a Respiratory Physiotherapist at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, within the Department of Anaesthetics and Surgical Intensive Care. In recent years she has run a private physiotherapy practice in Ljubljana.

Throughout her career she has been collaborating with sports clubs and sports organizations such as; the Olympic Committee of Slovenia (Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, EYOF in Erzurum,…), the men’s national volleyball team of Slovenia, the men’s and women’s national alpine ski team of Slovenia, various handball clubs as well as working with individual athletes. She is a president of the Section for sports physiotherapy at the Slovenian Physiotherapists Association.

Since 2015 she has collaborated with the Faculty of Sports, at the University of Ljubljana, as an associate junior expert, she lectures in various educational programs of physiotherapy and professional sports training programs. She also lectures at national and international congresses, conferences and symposia.

At the Faculty of Health Care Angela Boškin she lectures and cooperates in Functional anatomy and physiology of the locomotor system, Physical agents in Physiotherapy, Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy, Physiotherapy in Sports and Sports Rehabilitation, and Group exercise and Fitness.
