gains knowledge about asking compelling clinical questions, finding relevant evidence, critically appraising evidence, generating and disseminating evidence;
acquires skills for applying the evidence to nursing practice;
is acquainted with significance of culture for evidence based nursing. Knowledge of the process of evidence based nursing;
gains knowledge of the hierarchy of evidence;
gains knowledge of models, strategies and tools for utilization of evidence based nursing;
gains knowledge of methods for generating and disseminating evidence;
is acquainted with barriers to using evidence in nursing practice;
learns how to write articles.
