Cilji in predmetno
specifične kompetence:

• Izboljšanje zavedanja o onkološki zdravstveni negi kot o specialnem področju zdravstvene nege v okviru zdravstvenega varstva.
• Zagotovitev okvira za pospeševanje podiplomskega izobraževanja iz onkološke zdravstvene nege in profesionalnega razvoja.
• Povečanja znanja, razumevanja, veščin medicinskih sester iz okološke zdravstvene nege z namenom izboljšanja zdravstvene oskrbe ljudi z rakom.
• Spodbujanje medicinskih sester, da prispevajo svoj del v onkološkem multidisciplinarnem timu pri raziskovanju, menedžmentu in praksi.
• Pospeševanje razvoja strateških zmožnosti in sposobnosti v okviru onkološke zdravstvene nege.
